The Halo Group recently announced a brand new conference and international conference service, which promise to bring our unique brand of creativity to the market. This weeks blog covers all the highlights from our first venture in the sector, an international conference for GAP in Cannes, South of France.
The Halo Group offered a full event management service. Utilising our specialist venue sourcing team we placed the event at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, South of France.
SETTING THE SCENE: Despite the grandiose surroundings, the client required more extensive branding at the event. To achieve this, our bespoke set builders installed temporary walls, which were later branded with the companies distinctive stripped pattern design. We laid matching carpet in a continuation of the theme, thus tying the overall event design together. Foamex boards were also used throughout the space.
To give the event a high end finish, our team of carpenters and branding partners created a range of bespoke features including lecterns, light boxes, seating and other elements.
AV & technical support was also provided. The event utilised multiple rooms at the hotel across the 3 days. Each section of the event required a tailored solution including sound, light, projection screens, presentation facilities and more. The Halo Group stage managed the event whilst it was live, ensuring a seamless delivery in this crucial area.The conference required various formats, including theatre style presentations and speeches, a sit down dinner, workshops, group breakout sessions and the a “store experience”. Each section of the event was styled differently.
Of course the conference was not just about business, it was also an opportunity to reward staff for their hard work. To celebrate, we organised a lavish dinner dance at the end of the event set against the backdrop of the French Riviera.
Once inside, guests enjoyed a drinks reception, sit down meal and of course musical entertainment which was provided by The Halo Group.
