The Halo Group specialises in hospitality structure builds & VIP area design. Recently we were approached by the organisers of Royal Ascot to create a two-tier champagne bar at their iconic event. The following blog details the build and activation.
Royal Ascot is one of the world’s premier race meetings. With many premium structures on site, we understood the importance of creating something truly special for the event. Steeped in history and tradition, Ascot personifies the very essence of horse racing.
To achieve the look we opted for glass balustrades, polished chrome handrails and kickers and an arctic white stretch marquee courtesy of our partners Intent Marquees. These elements gave our build a clean, crisp finish and really brought the activation to life.
The physical structure comprised 3 individual 5m modular bays set side by side in a configuration to create a 15mx5m structure with a second tier viewing platform. The skeletal frame formed the canvas for the printed production elements and bar unit. The overall effect was a stunning VIP style bar.
For access to the top level we used one of our specialist staircases. Upstairs featured seating booths for guests and flat screens to display the all important races.
The event was a huge success. The Halo Group’s delivery ticked all the boxes for the event organisers and we look forward to returning to the meeting next year.
