The Halo Group specialises in international conference production and management. Each year Gap Europe hosts an international conference for their senior store managers. In 2015, the brand commissioned The Halo Group to produce their event in Cannes, South of France.
The brief was to source the venue, produce the conference and stage manage the entire event. The function was for 250 senior delegates so every possible allowance was made throughout the production in terms of ensuring quality. The event needed to feature multiple conference sections, focus groups, speeches, break out sessions, lectures and a sit-down dinner dance at the end of the weekend event.
To achieve the end result, our in-house international conference venue specialists sourced the location for the event. Key considerations were given to finding a solution which could accommodate all the different sections of the event including the conference, breakout sessions, party, accommodation and transport. Utilising our set-build team, we installed temporary walls throughout the hotel, before applying branding across the venue. Within each space, we installed staging, AV, sound, lighting, furniture, seating and bars/service stations as required. A selection of bespoke fabricated set pieces including custom light boxes, product displays and free standing branding helped tie the event aesthetics together and reinforced the event's key messaging.
