The Halo Group worked with London Agency Exposure Promotions to provide production services for the Netflix press event to mark the screening premier of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt at The Soho Hotel.
The 1st part of the brief was to create a "Times Square, New York City" setting that captured the hustle bustle of this iconic metropolis. The second part of our brief was to provide an additional environment in stark contrast to the reception, embodying a calm and relaxed ambience. The final element was to install branding for the screening room itself.
Using the client's tool kit to interpret the required look and feel, our specialist branders created a 10M NYC Times Square backdrop, which formed the focal point for guests on entrance. Pipe and drape was used to encase the remaining reception space, up lit in Netflix red. A step and repeat wall provided bloggers with the ideal photo backdrop whilst a hectic city soundscape helped set the busy scene on arrival. In the pamper room, we opted for plush, shabby chic furniture, beautiful floral design and other spa-style elements to enrich the experience. The Halo Group provided a team of manicurists, masseuses and male model hosts to ensure the blogger mums could enjoy some "Me:Time".
