RED Market returns to east London this Summer complete with a brand new look courtesy of The Halo Group.
One of East London’s favourite summer hang outs Red Market returns once again with another rich mix of food, music and beverages including the likes of Voo Doo Ray’s pizza, Butchies, and Deshi Roti taking centre stage on the culinary front.
This 12 week long series of events marks a distinct new direction in terms of production– enter The Halo Group. Our team designed and built this installation with an intentional focus on up-cycling and reworking natural materials.
Sponsored by firm summer favourite, Sol beer, the space features quirky focal points such as a tired sunshine deck & a city beach complete with deck chairs, cable reel tables, hammocks and more.
As a wet weather contingency we also fitted a customised stretch canopy over the decks where the great and good of the DJ world will be hosting a range of exciting musical programs across the summer. Our central food court features sharp geometric artwork forming a striking central focal point. Some of the highlights of this build however have come courtesy of our specialist fabrication partners. The main sponsors branding for example has seen a set of scintillating sol sign’s taking pride of place on site along with the main entrance RED MARKET sign crafted out of metal as pictured above.
The whole site has been brought together buy our amazing team of artists, carpenters, set builders and production crew in an edgy, raw design that’s perfectly attuned to its Shoreditch location. The project has attracted rave reviews and as always its been a pleasure to be involved in another one of London’s cutting edge pop ups for end clients Background Bars and Red Gallery.
