The Halo Group specialises in temporary structure design for the exhibition market. We own a unique modular steel build system which offers a new alternative to the shell scheme and other standard exhibition structures.
The standard shell scheme is a practical, lightweight and cost effective option for many exhibitors at trade shows. The overall aim of exhibiting is to attract visitors to your space to promote your products and services but it can be difficult to make an impact with the limitations these basic structures offer.
First and foremost shell scheme structures are uniform which can make it difficult to stand out. They are also lightweight and can’t support heavy wall cladding, suspended items such as lighting or PA equipment and other creative production features. Although a very good product for its purpose, this can all add up to a restrictive approach for brands and marketers at events.
The Halo Group owns a unique modular steel build system which can be used for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor events including exhibitions and trade shows. In its simplest form, our system is made up of lightweight RSJ beams with special connector bolts and can be built to almost any design, configuration or to any foot print. Our system offers a great alternative to the shell scheme and benefits from many advantages compared to similar sized products. The below images illustrate some of our basic formations.
With it’s lightweight steel construction, benefits of Halo’s modular steel system include strength, versatility and the ability to allow for a higher degree of creativity when building your stand. With an M16 bolt hole at regular intervals on every beam, hanging heavy lighting, sound equipment, screens or even unusual production & branding is easily achievable. The walls, ceiling and floor can be clad and finished in almost any material and its strength can even allow heavy items to be positioned on top of our structures to create extra impact. Wires, cables and other unwanted eyesores can be easily run under flooring, along beams and so forth making it one of the most versatile systems on the market.
For exhibition organisers looking to enhance the experience for show guests and exhibiting brands, The Halo Group system offers a genuine alternative to the shell scheme. We can build to the same dimensions and sizes as traditional formats and unbranded panels can be attached for exhibitors to apply their own branding materials to customise their booths. This adds a tangible extra value factor to prospective exhibitors who can be more creative than ever with their stand designs. For show organisers, by replacing the shell scheme with the Halo system, they may be able to attract a wider demographic and a higher volume of interest from brands looking to exhibit at shows whilst giving attendees a superior experience.
On a basic level, the shell scheme can easily be replicated with all these advantages but for the more adventurous there are a range of other products we offer which can further improve the infrastructure at your show. The ability to build over multiple levels can help show organisers increase the usable footprint within any given venue, thus increasing the number of booths organisers can fit within a space and ultimately sell. The following images illustrate this.
The modular design simply allows you to built up and build out from the standard booth size which could increase revenue and create a more appealing product for brands and exhibitors to use. We are constantly improving our range with more an more products coming on the market each year. If you would like to find out more about The Halo Group’s system we would love to hear from you.
