Stage Design

June 10, 2016

We have continued to build on our partnership with the ITV events team through our collaboration with the broadcaster on a marketing focused event aimed at sponsors & media agencies which took place at 100 Wardour Street.

The event was aimed at celebrating The Voice as it moves to its new home on the channel. The Halo Group provided stage design, production, set dressing and venue styling services to help create an immersive event to assist ITV in the clear communication of the campaign’s key messages. To achieve the result we created a striking entrance set build, built using a timber frame and then clad in painted MDF which featured CNC cut detail, back lit using LEDs. Branded window vinyl overlays were also applied to the large glass panels in front of the venue.

Our stage design saw two separate installations with a large 6mx3m main stage and a smaller judges stage positioned within the venue. A central backdrop fitted with LED tiles displayed The Voice graphics whist two large stage wings each with their own screens formed an imposing stage backdrop and streamed live camera content.

The venue itself was styled using creative lighting, red colour floods and LED uplighters. In the Green Room, The Halo Group created a set build using flight cases, musical instruments, make up mirrors and other familiar backstage items as part of the theme.

A separate photo area featured an ITV approved replica chair as used on The Voice. A branded backdrop and an instant print camera courtesy of “Out of Order” to capture fun moments for guests was incorporated into the main space whilst Verve installed a Voice Sound booth to complete the event.

Managing Director of The Halo Group Gareth Chappell said:

“Working with the ITV events team again this year has seen our partnership go from strength to strength. We previously partnered with them on their ITV Radio Times experiential campaign in 2015 and more recently their ITV Winners event. The Voice is our latest collaboration and has reinforced our growing professional relationship. This event utilized many of our key in-house departments and partners including our stage design and build team, branding specialists and sound and lighting technicians. We are looking forward to many more successful projects in the coming months and beyond and would like to thank ITV for the opportunity of being involved”
