The Halo Group provide conference production and management services to a broad portfolio of clients. Each year Gap Europe hosts an international conference for their senior store managers. In 2015, the brand commissioned The Halo Group to produce their event in Cannes, South of France. This exclusive location provided the perfect backdrop to the event.
The brief was to source the venue, produce the conference and stage manage the entire event. The function was for 250 senior delegates so every possible allowance was made throughout the production in terms of ensuring quality. The event needed to feature multiple conference sections, focus groups, speeches, break out sessions, lectures and a sit-down dinner dance at the end of the weekend event.
To achieve the end result, our in-house conference production team sourced the location for the event. Key considerations were given to finding a solution which could accommodate all the different sections of the event. Utilising our set-build team, we installed temporary walls throughout the hotel, before applying branding across the venue. Within each space, we installed staging, AV, sound, lighting, furniture, seating and bars/service stations and other features as required. A selection of bespoke fabricated set pieces including custom light boxes, product displays and free standing branding helped tie the event together and reinforced key messaging.
